Spring Clean-Ups in Corkagh Park and St Cuthberts Park on Sat 26th April
The South West Clondalkin Community Safety Forum has organised 2 Spring Clean-Ups for the area. You’re invited to come along and support this for an hour and help to bring a shine back to some local parks!

New proposal for Alpine / Ashwood path to Fonthill Road / Grand Canal
Council is proposing to bring this to the next council meeting.
• The hedgerow in Alpine Rise will not be affected by the proposal – it is intended to leave it in position.
• The proposed path is being positioned in front of the hedge and allowing for a 3m distance between the path and the hedge to improve visibility for walkers and cyclists.
• Where the path meets the boundary there will be Kissing Gate (or its more up to date version, a K Barrier) installed to help prevent encroachment by scramblers or those on horses and to also make it safer for both adults and children when exiting onto the Fonthill Road.
