Sports Capital Grant

The latest round of Sports Capital funding will open for applications on 17th January 2014 and closed at 5.00pm on Friday 28th February 2014.    Applications for the 2014 programme will only be accepted online, and organisations must be registered in order to apply.” Visit https://www.sportscapitalprogramme.ie/

 

North Clondalkin Library submissions

Location is Harelawn/Rowlagh (see map). Facilities will include: Private study, I.T., Spaces for Meeting, Children’s Space, Business Spaces, Free WiFi. Please contact me 085 714 5005 or info@trevorgilligan.com for plans and drawings or if you would like to make a submission.

New proposal for Alpine / Ashwood path to Fonthill Road  / Grand Canal

Council is proposing to bring this to the next council meeting.

 

•       The hedgerow in Alpine Rise will not be affected by the proposal – it is intended to leave it in position.

•       The proposed path is being positioned in front of the hedge and allowing for a 3m distance between the path and the hedge to improve visibility for walkers and cyclists.

•       Where the path meets the boundary there will be Kissing Gate (or its more up to date version, a K Barrier) installed to help prevent encroachment by scramblers or those on horses and to also make it safer for both adults and children when exiting onto the Fonthill Road.

Neilstown boxing club 35th Anniversary in May
